What makes a J’Adore Doodles puppy so special?

Health Tested Parents
At J’Adore Doodles, our commitment to excellence starts with our parent dogs. Each of our parent dogs, even with the use of outside studs, are carefully selected for their outstanding temperament, exceptional manners, and overall health. They genetic and physical health testing to ensure the best possible foundation for their puppies. We believe that healthy, well-rounded parents are the key to raising happy, healthy puppies. By prioritizing these qualities, we strive to produce Cavapoos and Poodles that embody the very best of the breed.

ENS & ESI
From the moment our puppies are born, we prioritize their early development. Starting at just 3 days old, we implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). These exercises are conducted daily from days 3 to 16, along with gentle handling and routine weight monitoring. ENS helps enhance cardiovascular health, strengthens heartbeats and adrenal glands, builds stress tolerance, and boosts disease resistance. ESI focuses on developing scent awareness and increasing the puppies' confidence. To learn more about ENS and ESI, please click the button below.

Pregnancy & Whelping Care
Our dams receive exceptional care throughout their pregnancy to ensure their health and well-being. From regular vet visits and enhanced nutrition to 24/7 on-call veterinary support, we make sure they’re fully prepared to welcome their puppies into the world. As their due date nears, they transition to their dedicated whelping area, where they are pampered with daily massages and grooming. During delivery, we provide attentive assistance to ensure a safe and smooth whelping process.

10 Step Handling
At 3 weeks old, we transition our puppies to a more advanced developmental curriculum inspired by Jeanette Forrey of 4E Kennels. This includes introducing a daily "10-step puppy massage," gradually increasing pressure each week. These handling exercises expose our puppies to various types of touch and sensation, including gentle handling of their eyes, nose, inside their mouth, around their collar, tummy, back, tail, ears, and paws, as well as light nail tapping. This process helps them become comfortable with different forms of interaction, laying the foundation for confident, well-adjusted companions.

Temperament Testing
At 7 weeks old, each puppy undergoes a Puppy Aptitude Test based on the Badass Breeder Program. This test evaluates 12 key temperament traits to ensure we match you with a puppy that aligns with your lifestyle, needs, and preferences while respecting the unique personality of each puppy. After completing the temperament assessments and vet checks, families can review evaluation videos and scorecards for each puppy, helping them make the best choice for their family on go-home day.
